About

What is Maalem?

A platform for discovering landmarks and owning them virtually. Every landmark has a page, and every page has exactly one virtual owner, whose name appears on it and who uses its ad space.

We are starting in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and keep adding countries, cities and landmarks.

The idea

Landmarks attract attention. A page that more people visit has more valuable ad space, so more people want to own it. We show real traffic numbers next to every price, so prices rest on what actually happens rather than on guesswork.

What we are not

We promise no profit and guarantee no return. We do not sell rights in real landmarks, and we are not affiliated with anyone who owns or operates them. Please read the virtual ownership disclaimer.
